Life after College

Hey guys!


Been working hard these past couple of months.  Getting Black Widow and a couple of other projects off the ground floor and just started working professionally.  I'm really excited for this film and I hope you'll all be just as excited to see it.  It's been intense but even with all this work that I have to do, I'm having a blast.  I guess the quote "if you do what you love, you'll never work a day in your life" is true.  I can't wait to show more to you guys!

Sorry for keeping this short and to the point, I'm getting ready to do a story animatic for a Greek myth and am really enjoying designing the two main characters.  It's been nice to go with a much more stylistic approach to the character designs.

Hey guys,

I've been in a much better mood lately.  Been stressing over deadlines and portfolio submissions.  It's been nice to get back to the work that I so love doing.  Urban Legend (as I have so deemed the project) has been picking up a few cups of steam and i hope to have lots more soon.

I've been wanting to design around the Rumpelstiltskin story and have been really liking where it's going.  This is one of the main characters in the story and I just love her hair.  So fluffy!  Anyway, I hope you guys enjoy!

Work and the Laika

Hey guys,

The short film I've been working on with a great friend of mine, Kendall Robinson, has been moving along pretty well.  the work for the project will be posted on the official Black Widow site and only a few of my pieces will be posted here.  We've just added a few new parts to the story that I think you will all enjoy.

Also, to experiment I wanted to try out a new type of style that I enjoyed.  So I drew some characters in a style similar to the new Laika feature, Paranorman.  These guys were a blast to create and I'll be using one of them soon as a fun side project of my own so watch out for him.

Hope you all had a great Halloween!  Mine was staler than previous years, but they can't all be gems I guess.  Been working on Black Widow more, hopefully flushing out the story boards for an animatic and story illustrations.

Hey guys,

Sherlock is one of my recent favorites on television and my favorite character is Irene Adler.  the show depicts her as a wonderful contrast to Sherlock and Lara Pulver is very beautiful.  I was inspired to draw a few nude Irenes because of how striking and provocative she is in her first dialogue with Sherlock in A Scandal in Belgravia.  I'll be drawing more of these, as I'd like to make it a series of Irenes in different poses and expressions.

Long Time No See
